Noël Koutohou Jahways

Noël Koutohou Jahways is a Beninese biologist-naturalist and agroecologist. Since 2019, he has devoted his energy to biodiversity conservation, peasant seed resilience, and food sovereignty for communities in West Africa.

Executive Director of the NGO Jeunes Alliés de la Nature since 2023 and of CEVASTE ONG since 2022, he works in the villages of Tori, Houakpè-Daho, Sèyigbé, Toligbé and surroundings.

His approach combines scientific rigour with the wisdom of African indigenous knowledge, for a regenerative and sovereign agriculture.

Creation of 3 seed banks in Tori. Planting of 850 fruit trees in 3 villages.
